Abstracts

Abstract submission details

The form will guide you through the process of submitting your abstract. Each of the tabs on the left side of the page will display a step in the submission process that needs to be completed. At any point during the process, you can click the "Save as draft" button to save your incomplete submission and return to it later. The Review section will provide an overview of the sections that still need to be completed before you can submit your abstract. Once all the necessary sections have been completed, you can submit the abstract.

Instructions for Writing Abstracts

  1. Title in uppercase, with a maximum of 100 words, including spaces
  2. Authors' names must be entered in the dedicated fields for each, in the following order: main author, co-authors
  3. Authors' affiliation (institution, city, on a separate line, in the order of the authors)
  4. The main text should have a maximum of 300 words (up to 2000 characters, not including the title, authors, and affiliation), and must include:
  5. Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions
  6. Tables, graphs, and photos are not allowed in the abstract
  7. Abbreviations should be explained at their first mention in the text
  8. A separate line should be inserted for up to 3 keywords
  9. Bibliography should not be included in the abstract text
  10. The abstract must be written in both Romanian and EnglishAn author may submit a maximum of 2 abstracts as the primary author.

Instructions for Oral Presentations
Oral presentations should be prepared according to the instructions below:

  • Oral presentations will be delivered in Romanian or English, with PowerPoint slides (visual support) in English.
  • Presentations must be submitted to the technical staff before the session in which you are presenting.
  • The presentation remains the property of the author and will not be used without their permission.
  • If you wish to present from your own laptop, please inform the logistics organizer at least 2 days before the congress. To avoid technical issues, please bring your presentation on a USB stick, as presentations will be run from the laptop prepared by the technical team.
  • More technical specifications will be sent via email.

Instructions for E-Poster Presentations
E-poster presentations should continue to be created in PowerPoint format (.ppt, .pptx):

  • Recommended size: 20 inches x 35 inches, PORTRAIT
  • Recommended fonts: Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman
  • Recommended font size: 12 – 24 points
  • For better visibility, it is recommended to use light-colored fonts on a dark background
  • Language: English or Romanian
  • The electronic devices on which e-posters will be displayed will have the screen ratio set to 9:16 (PORTRAIT). Files should have a maximum size of 20 MB per e-poster and should not exceed 1 slide per e-poster.

E-posters will be displayed on screens at the venue. The Evaluation Committee will award prizes for the best posters.
