Professor Kypros Nicolaïdes is one of the pioneers of fetal medicine. His discoveries have revolutionized this field.

He introduced screening methods for chromosomal and structural abnormalities, improved the diagnosis and prevention of preeclampsia and preterm birth, and enabled the development of fetal therapy.

He is the author of over a thousand peer-reviewed scientific articles.

Currently, he is the director of the Fetal Medicine Unit at King's College Hospital in London, recognized as the largest fetal medicine unit in the world, where dozens of doctors from around the globe come each year for training.
