I am Professor of Pediatrics–Neonatology at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and a consultant neonatologist at Papageorgiou General Hospital. I am a certified pediatrician and neonatologist with extensive clinical, academic, and teaching experience in neonatal intensive care and perinatal medicine. I completed postdoctoral research training as a research fellow at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

My research focuses on prematurity, extremely low birth weight infants, neonatal hemostasis, and perinatal outcomes. I have authored numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including journals with significant impact factors, and my work has achieved a Scopus h-index of 16. I am actively involved in postgraduate education and doctoral supervision and currently serve as President of the Hellenic Neonatal Society, contributing to national and international scientific initiatives in neonatology.
