Prof . Perikles Panagopoulos is Ass. Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Family Planning at the National and Kapodestrian University of Athens, Director of the 3rd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at "ATTIKON" University Hospital, Director of the Postgraduate Programme "High Risk Pregnancy" and a member of the General Assembly of Athens University Medical School.

From 1997 till 2010 was occupied as a Consultant at the Greek National Health System and since 2010 as a Professor.

His academic resume involves more than 100 published articles, book chapters and congress lectures.

The 3rd Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which he has the honour to direct, has developed all the subspecialties of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
