Dr Mehmet Sinan Beksac has graduated from Hacettepe University Medical Faculty in 1976. He has specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology in “Hacettepe University” and has been in the list of specialists since 1980. He continued his academic activities at Karolinska Institute Sweden between 1983-84. He became Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1985. In 1992, he was elected full professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University. He served as the Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Head of Perinatology at Hacettepe University. He took place at the Executive Comitttee of Dean’s Office at Hacettepe University Medical Faculty. He got retired from Hacettepe University on May 28, 2020. Currently, he is working at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Liv Ankara Hospital, İstinye Uiversity (since 2024). He is the member of various national and international medical societies. He is the founder of Turkish Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Perinatology” and one of the founders of “South East European Society of Perinatal Medicine”. He has various national and international awards, 2 patents and 497 publications (h-index:36). He has 8 books and organized around 100 national and international congresses.
