Dr. Tirsit Asfaw is an Associate Professor of clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urogynecology at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

As the division director for Urogynecology and Pelvic reconstructive surgery, she leads her team to provide all aspects of urogynecologic care to women in the greater New York City area. Her clinical expertise and focus are the treatment of women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, complex urogynecologic issues such as fistulas, and other anatomic and physiologic abnormalities that occur in women. She has extensive experience in educating medical students, residents as well as fellows.
