Gokcen Orgul was born in Burdur in 1984. In 2002, he started his education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine and received his medical school education degree. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Istanbul Medeniyet University Goztepe Training and Research Hospital between 2009-2013. He completed his public service obligation at Kars Harakani State Hospital in 2015. He started maternal fetal medicine specialty fellowship at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine Perinatology Department in 2015. After three years, he received the title of perinatology specialist in 2018. He worked in the high-risk pregnancy department of Ankara Etlik Zubeyde Hanim Gynecology Training and Research Hospital between 2018-2021. As of August 2020, he gained the title of associate professor by meeting the criteria determined by the Interuniversity Council. He started to work as a lecturer in Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021. There are many studies published in the literature by his name and, he continues to research in the field of high-risk pregnancies.
