Dr. Beksac is an obstetrician/gynecologist specializing in maternal-fetal medicine and perinatology, with a strong focus on high-risk pregnancies, perinatal care, fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and general gynecology.

Dr. Beksac obtained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University in Ankara in June 1976. After completing medical school, he finished his residency at the same university's Faculty of Medicine in December 1980. To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Beksac pursued a fellowship certification in perinatology in 2011.

He became an associate professor in 1985 and a full professor in 1992. He has served the Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University as a member of the Faculty Council and the Executive Committee at various times. Prof. Beksac was the head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2006 to 2009 and led the Division of Perinatology between 2011 and 2020. He worked at the Karolinska Institute and completed several scientific projects (1983-84).

Dr. Beksac is a member of several professional societies. He is a founding member of the "South East European Society of Perinatal Medicine" (SEESPM) and the "Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Perinatology Society of Turkey" (TMFTP).

Dr. Beksac's contributions to the field have been recognized through prestigious awards. He received the "1987 TÜBİTAK Incentive Award" and the "2008 Soranos Award of SEESPM," among others. He has completed more than 20 international scientific projects.
