Dr. Ana-Maria Fit is a board-certified pathologist with over 15 years of experience in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. She currently serves as a Senior Physician at the "Prof. Dr. Octavian Fodor" Regional Institute of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (IRGH) in Cluj-Napoca. Her specialized interests include colorectal, gastric, esophageal, pancreatic, and liver pathology.

With a robust background in histopathology, her recent research has focused specifically on vascular liver disorders.

In her upcoming presentation, Dr. Fit will address the practical aspects of biomarker testing in upper GI cancers. Attendees can expect to gain valuable insights that will directly inform clinical practice and enhance patient care.
