Since 2013 I am the coordinator of the genetics department of Filantropia Clinical Hospital, Bucharest. 

The certification of the genetic department and feto-maternal unit as Center of Expertise for Rare Diseases in the field of Prenatal Screening and Diagnosis by the Ministry of Health was a recognition of the quality of our work.

An important step forward was introducing the Next-Generation Sequencing, NGS panels for hereditary cancers diagnosis.

Moreover, I am a member of the multidisciplinary (MDT) team involved in diagnosis, management, treatment and follow up of oncological patients from our Hospital, attending the weekly tumor board meeting.

As a European recognition of outstanding professional standards, I have obtained The European Certificate in Medical Genetics and Genomics (ECMGG).
