Primary physician at the "Dr. Carol Davila" Central Military Emergency Hospital at the "OncoTeam Diagnostic" laboratory.

Dr. Florina Vasilescu is a specialist in pathological anatomy, graduated from the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Faculty of Medicine.

In 2015, she obtained a PhD title in medicine, thesis:  "Cellular and molecular targets in the therapy of lung carcinoma".

Dr. Vasilescu's areas of interest are: breast pathology, Head and Neck pathology, gynecological pathology, immunohistochemistry, pleuropulmonary pathology, pathology of soft tissue tumors.

She has been constantly involved in research activities and projects at the national level, as a coordinator or partner.

She has also made her scientific contribution by publishing a significant number of scientific papers published in various specialized journals in the country and abroad.

Currently she works as a primary physician at the "Dr. Carol Davila" Central Military Emergency Hospital and at the "OncoTeam Diagnostic" laboratory.
