I’ve been born in Bucharest, Romania where I graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in 2018. I began my training as a pathology resident in 2019, completing part of my rotations in the United Kingdom, and obtained my specialist certification in 2023 in Romania. In 2024, I was awarded my PhD and subsequently moved to the UK, where I have been working as a Consultant Pathologist at Poundbury Cancer Institute, Dorchester since 2024. PCI is an external provider of diagnostic services to the NHS and a central referral laboratory for a number of on-slide companion diagnostics. Alongside my clinical work, I have been actively involved in projects conducted by CADQAS, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the introduction and adoption of high-quality new cancer diagnostic and predictive tests (biomarkers).

M-am născut în București, România, unde am absolvit Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie Carol Davila în 2018. Mi-am început pregătirea ca rezident în Anatomo-patologie în 2019, efectuând o parte din rotații în Regatul Unit și obținând certificarea de specialist în 2023 în România. În 2024, mi-am acordat doctoratul și ulterior m-am mutat în Marea Britanie, unde lucrez ca medic consultant patolog la Institutul de Cancer Poundbury (PCI), Dorchester din 2024. PCI este un furnizor extern de servicii de diagnostic pentru NHS și un laborator central de referință pentru o serie de teste diagnostice companion pe lamă. Pe lângă activitatea mea clinică, am fost implicată activ în proiecte derulate de CADQAS, o organizație non-profit dedicată sprijinirii introducerii și adoptării de noi teste de diagnostic și predicție de înaltă calitate a cancerului (biomarkeri).
