At AI4MED, Florin brings a perspective that blends technical expertise with entrepreneurial and business experience, contributing to a dialogue on innovation, digital transformation, and how artificial intelligence is changing organizations, the way we work, and, more broadly, society.

Alina Căpitanu is Vice President of the IMAGO-MOL Cluster, representing the North-East Regional Development Agency, and is passionate about developing the regional healthcare innovation ecosystem. She has 24 years of experience in regional development and project management and actively contributed to the establishment of the IMAGO-MOL Cluster in 2012, as well as to its subsequent development. Connecting the regional healthcare innovation ecosystem to European networks and initiatives is one of her main professional goals. Over the years, the North-East Region has become a member of the Smart Specialisation Platform for Personalised Medicine (S3P4PM), the Vanguard Initiative, CEBR and the global ECHAlliance network, thereby helping accelerate the smart transformation of the healthcare system. Alina is also President of MEDIC NEST – Meta-Cluster in Precision Medicine, an open alliance of European clusters and business support organisations, built on the conviction that inter-cluster, cross-border and cross-sector collaboration can support the growth, global competitiveness and internationalisation of the European precision medicine ecosystem.

Costin Chirica is a PhD candidate in Medicine, in the field of Radiology, and a research assistant at the "Prof. Ostin C. Mungiu" Advanced Research and Development Center in Experimental Medicine of "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași. He works in radiology and medical imaging, and his research focuses on neuroimaging and MRI, with an interest in medical image processing and computational analysis. His goal is to integrate clinical interpretation with quantitative image analysis in support of research and clinical practice.

Daniela Gabriela Ciobanu is Professor of Pathology at the Department of Morpho-Functional Sciences I, Faculty of Medicine, "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași, and Consultant Pathologist and Head of the Pathology Department at the "Sf. Spiridon" Clinical Emergency County Hospital, Iași, one of the largest hospitals in the Moldavian region. She holds a Doctor of Medicine (PhD) in Pathology, with a doctoral thesis on "Cytological and Histological Correlations in Nodular Lesions of the Thyroid Gland" (Diploma E0002781, No. 1226/22.09.2006), and is a Habilitated Doctor, with a habilitation thesis on "The Thyroid between Malignancy and Autoimmunity: The Pathological Way from Diagnosis to Research" (Diploma No. 4326/27.07.2022). She is an active member of several professional and scientific societies, including the Romanian Society of Normal and Pathological Morphology, the Romanian Society of Clinical Cytology, the Romanian Society of Physicians and Naturalists, and the European Society of Pathology. Through academic collaborations with specialists across various medical fields, she has authored and co-authored books, treatises, monographs, training materials, and professional guides. Her principal areas of scientific and professional interest include endocrine, dermatological, hepatic, cervico-vaginal, and breast pathology, as well as histochemistry, morphometry, and immunohistochemical techniques applied to diagnostic and research pathology.

Iulian B. Ciocoiu is a professor at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, "Gheorghe Asachi" Technical University of Iași. He is the author of two books, three book chapters published by international publishers, and over 70 scientific papers. His research interests include applications of deep learning models, biometrics, and biomedical signal processing. Prof. Ciocoiu is a Senior Member of IEEE and of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.

Ovidiu Coruga, Head of Marketing at Rayscape and a resident radiologist. I work at the intersection of medicine, technology, and innovation, with a particular interest in how artificial intelligence can become a useful and natural tool in radiology practice. My role combines a clinical perspective with product understanding, technology communication, and bridging the gap between technical teams and healthcare professionals.

Ioana Crețu holds a PhD in Education Sciences and is an independent specialist in medical communication and English for Specific Purposes, an accredited trainer for the international OET Medicine/Nursing exam, and an authorised medical translator. She was a faculty member for 18 years at "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, and since 2018 has worked independently with healthcare professionals, researchers and academics in areas such as clinical communication, scientific writing and medical education. Her recent work also explores the critical use of Artificial Intelligence in clinical and academic contexts.

Ionuț Adrian Duțu has worked in medical software for over 12 years and is now Sales Manager at Pixel Data. He brings AI-powered imaging solutions from international partners into hospitals and follows them from the first conversation with physicians through PACS/RIS integration and testing on real cases. Before Pixel Data, he led medical sales at HTSS. At AI4-MED, he speaks about Subtle Medical's entry into Romania: what AI applications for MRI and PET can do, and what needs to happen for them to reach daily use in clinics.

Dr. Camelia Dascălu is a specialist physician in clinical pharmacology, a PhD candidate, and a research assistant at the "Prof. Ostin C. Mungiu" Advanced Research and Development Center in Experimental Medicine, "Grigore T. Popa" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iași. Her professional and scientific activity spans clinical pharmacology, clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and translational research. Her current research interests focus on precision medicine and translational oncology, with particular attention to the role of cannabinoids and the potential integration of immunological biomarkers, radiomics, and artificial intelligence methods in evaluating therapeutic response. She is involved in multidisciplinary biomedical research projects and scientific communication activities.

Medical physicist and radiation protection expert accredited by C.N.C.A.N., with over 15 years of experience in medical fields that use ionizing radiation, particularly radiology and nuclear medicine. Lecturer at UMF “Grigore T. Popa” Iași, Faculty of Medicine. Coordinator of the Strategy Department within the North-East Regional Innovative Cluster for Molecular and Structural Imaging (IMAGO-MOL).

Dragoș Grama is Synaptiq's CTO. He studied Computer Science and then AI at the University of Amsterdam and spent three years as an AI researcher in the Radiotherapy department at VUMC Amsterdam before joining Synaptiq. He now runs the technical team and the development of Mediq RT.

Adrian Iftene is a Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Vice-Rector at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași (UAIC), Romania, where he previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science from 2012 to 2024. His research interests span artificial intelligence, natural language processing, software engineering, human-computer interaction, and, increasingly, the application of AI in medicine and healthcare. He also serves as MedTech Coordinator within the Imago-Mol Cluster, contributing technical expertise and research activities at the intersection of digital technologies and medicine. Since 2005, he has participated in numerous national and European research initiatives, including H2020 REVERT, EC2U, MetaNet4U, ALEAR, LT4eL, IRSmart, MEDIMAG-AI, and several COST Actions. He has coordinated research and innovation projects such as PIONIER AI, MUCKE, IRSmart, CompetIT&C, and HealthTech Connect. His recent work focuses particularly on artificial intelligence for medical diagnosis, smart health, multimodal data analysis, and responsible integration of AI into healthcare and society. Adrian Iftene has authored over 400 scientific papers and has extensive experience in organizing and chairing international conferences, workshops, and scientific events.

Senior Data Scientist and PhD candidate in Computer Science at "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași, with 8 years of industry experience in Machine Learning applications. Her research focuses on Explainable AI (XAI) and the analysis of complex medical data, with the aim of developing clinically applicable solutions for real-world challenges. Guided by a vision of building trust in artificial intelligence, she actively collaborates with medical specialists to create safe technologies that clinicians can understand, use with confidence, and easily integrate into practice, thereby improving medical decisions and patient care.

I am a Technical Lead at Duk-Tech, and I consider myself a problem solver who enjoys finding solutions and taking on challenges. Over the past 20 years in software development, I've been driven by curiosity—always eager to understand the intricate systems I work with. This mindset has led me to explore beyond my core expertise, diving into areas like Big Data and denormalized databases, while currently focusing on transitioning from Monolith Architecture to Azure Microservices Architecture using the Event-Driven Design pattern to build more robust, scalable, and future-ready solutions.

Constantin Roman is a veterinarian with experience in clinical practice and a strong orientation toward research. He joined the "Prof. Ostin C. Mungiu" Advanced Research and Development Center in Experimental Medicine – CEMEX in 2024, where he works in the field of experimental medicine. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Iași in 2014 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, within the Innovation, Interoperability, and Digital Transformation program. In parallel, he is a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Veterinary Medicine, with a research focus on neuroscience.
