This year, the Association for Infection Prevention and Control (APCI) is pleased to present a special edition of its conference dedicated to infection prevention and control. Between 8–10 October 2026, in Cluj‑Napoca, the APCI–IFIC Joint Conference on Infection Prevention and Control 2026 will take place— a landmark event for healthcare professionals.

This year’s edition marks an important milestone for our community, as it is organized in partnership with the International Federation of Infection Control (IFIC). This strategic collaboration brings together international expertise and local experience, providing a strong framework for promoting best practices in the prevention of healthcare‑associated infections.

The conference will bring together specialists from Romania and abroad, encouraging multidisciplinary dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the presentation of the latest scientific perspectives in the field.
